Stitching and Knitting

I have been stitching and knitting this week. I came across some blogs on knitting dishcloths. One pattern caught my eye, it was a yellow butterfly. It was stitched with 4 ply worsted weight cotton using size 7 needles. I used size 8 needles to get the right gauge for my knitting. The cloth is about 9 1/2 inches square. I like how it turned out, and yes, I will use it for washing dishes!
I finished the stitching on this Waxing Moon design
and
started this design from Prairie Schooler.
This was a freebie from Wichelt Imports, Inc. from about 10 years ago.
I am stitching it on blue fiddlers cloth also from 10 years ago!
Take care and have a great week! :)

My Cats and Stitching

I would like to introduce you to my cats. Little Girl is the short haired black cat and she is 8 years old. Babe is a long haired white and he is 5 years old. I took separate pictures so one would not be smacking the other. They get along about 90% of the time. Tonight I was concerned about the other 10%. I love them both so much. I don't have children so for me they are the next best thing.

I am currently stitching this freebie from Waxing Moon, I hope to finish it tonight. Of course I am constantly thinking of what to stitch next, more than likely another pumpkin.

Thank you for your comments and encouragement, both are appreciated.
Take care
