I have been stitching and knitting this week. I came across some blogs on knitting dishcloths. One pattern caught my eye, it was a yellow butterfly. It was stitched with 4 ply worsted weight cotton using size 7 needles. I used size 8 needles to get the right gauge for my knitting. The cloth is about 9 1/2 inches square. I like how it turned out, and yes, I will use it for washing dishes!
I finished the stitching on this Waxing Moon design
and
started this design from Prairie Schooler.
This was a freebie from Wichelt Imports, Inc. from about 10 years ago.
I am stitching it on blue fiddlers cloth also from 10 years ago!
Take care and have a great week! :)

Oh I love knitted dishclothes. My favorite aunt used to make them for me. She passed away and I still have some which thankfully last a very long time. This one is so pretty. The butterfly looks difficult. Your Waxing Moon design is so sweet. How will you finish it? PS designs are the greatest to stitch. They go quickly. This looks adorable. I love beehives.

Welcome to blogland :)
Love the dishcloth. Sometimes I wish I could knit. Then it would take time away from stitching.
It takes a while to learn all the things you can do with your blog. Always learning.
