A Busy Week

This week has been really busy for me. My mom wanted me to check to see if she was still registered to vote. She is still registered. It is so difficult for her to get around. She has to use a wheelchair. I found she was eligible to vote using an absentee ballot. I took care of all the paperwork and she has already voted in our primary which is next Tuesday. She was so happy.

I am still looking for a job. I picked up an application on Tuesday and returned it today. It is a job in retail. The general manager said the retail manager would want to talk to me, but she wasn't there. I figured if she calls it was meant to be, if she doesn't on to the next application. I actually studied to be a medical coder. I received my certificate of studies from a community college in Virginia in May of 2007. In order to work I have to be certified. The exam is around $400. I will be saving and studying.

I also did our grocery shopping for the month. I am tired but glad to have gotten so much done. The cold items have been put away and I will do the rest tomorrow. For now I think I will stitch awhile.

The next time I post there will be pictures. I am looking forward to that!!

Take care everyone!

Good evening Teresa, I've missed you! I hope you have good news about the job, but you have the right frame of mind.. if it's meant to be...

I'll stop back by to see pictures of stitching maybe?? I finished my angel with a tuck pillow - she just makes me smile :)

My links are there. :) It is fun but dangerous to find new and wonderful blogs! It takes away for stitching and quilting time. LOL! There are truly many gifted bloggers out there arn't there!

Happy weekend. We are here painting out living room which is hard work.

Hugs ~

You shop for a whole months worth of groceries at one time? You rock! I do good to get by with once a week! I'm so not organized!
(I am getting better - not that I can get everything we need for a week in one trip just that if we run out, we are just out! I hate grocery shopping!)
