Keep us in your thoughts...

Mom was admitted to the hospital during the night. She is having some test done today. Please keep her in your thoughts. I called to check on her and she was having a test done. I will be going back to the hospital this afternoon.

She did not want me to call an ambulance, so instead I called my uncle (Santa). The hospital she goes to and the one that has her medical records is in the city and they would have taken her to a local community hospital instead. My uncle drove more than 200 miles during the night. He came to the house, took us both to the hospital, brought me home and then drove himself home.

Uncle Santa is so good to my mom. He is so patient with her. He took care of their mother until her death. He will turn 70 this month. One of the nurses was so excited to go home after her shift and tell her daughter that she saw Santa! My uncle had a picture of himself dressed as Santa and gave it to the nurse. The little girls birthday is Saturday and he wrote Happy Birthday and signed it "Santa."

Thanks for your friendships.
Teresa

Your Uncle is a sweetie ;)

Please send me your address again Teresa, so I can send her a get well card, please? I hate that she's under the weather.

Tell her to please feel better and she's in my prayers.

I"m so sorry to hear about your mom. Mine is 85 and I'm so blessed that she is happy and still with me. I hope your mom gets better soon!
And your uncle is a doll--no wonder you call him "Santa."
