Quilter's Stash Winner

On April 8th, Heidi drew my name for a quilter's stash giveaway. I don't have a lot of supplies for quilting and was thrilled to win. It is a treat to see Heidi's quilts. The fabrics and patterns she uses are beautiful. I knew whatever she would send me would be lovely.

I received this wonderful package a couple of weeks ago. I emailed a thank you note to her as soon as it arrived. I apologize for not posting sooner.
Enclosed was this postcard of Vincent van Gogh's Montmartre, Moulin de la Galette (1886). On the back, a sweet note from Heidi.

Next is this wonderful fall quilt pattern called Fall Frolic. When I saw the picture of the finished quilt and fabric the first thing that came to mind was Thanksgiving, my favorite holiday! Heidi wrote in her note that autumn is her favorite season and she wanted to share it with me. She couldn't have sent anything better! :)

Aren't those pumpkins just the cutest?

I am looking forward to using these beautiful fabrics.

Heidi really has an eye for combining colors. Lucky me!

Thank you Heidi for this gift. I am so glad you wanted to share autumn with me. When it comes to Thanksgiving you are someone I am thankful for.

Thank you to those who are reading the special post.

That is a great gift you won. I bet you will have fun making this quilt. Heidi taught her quilt group a small quilt using pumpkins similar to these. They wrote Welcome, some in Dutch and some in English. They all did them so well.
Enjoy your project.
