The Hard Way is the title of a book by Julie Luongo. Julie is a friend of our blogging friend Jennifer http://sweetpeastitching.blogspot.com/ . Carolien is such a thoughtful friend. She sent some wonderful goodies along with the book. I received licorice and coffee candies and a bookmark with a picture of wooden shoes. She also sent this beautiful postcard.
I am so excited that I had a chance to read The Hard Way . It isn't everyday that we have the opportunity to share is someones adventure. Julie is on her way as an author, Jennifer shares in her friend's joy, and we (those who have a chance to read and then pass this book along) are allowed a brief ride on their journey. It is great you now have the book. I remember when Carolien got it. I have had those Dutch candies and Heidi lives in Amersfoort, same as Carolien. I was lucky enough to be invited to her house while staying with Heidi.
