I have been busy this past week. I decided to post a picture of Holiday Pineapple, wrinkles and all. This is the only piece I am stitching on at the moment and am happy with the way it is turning out. I am really looking forward to adding more holly leaves. Maybe that is what I will work on tonight.
I painted part of the basement wall. It had been a shade of mint green and I have been painting it white. It looks so nice and clean. I also moved my sewing machine cabinet/table downstairs. I am looking forward to sewing again, but didn't think I could stand to look at that green wall.
I have not decorated for the holidays. I did manage to bring out a small collection of snowmen. I don't know if I will do more than that. We will see. I have really enjoyed reading the blogs of those in other countries. Learning of different holiday traditions and seeing pictures of decorations from abroad has been a joy. Maybe if I give up reading blogs, just for a few days, I could get more decorating done!! LOL!
Take care
Teresa
P.S. I enjoy blogging so much, I wouldn't want to give it up, not even for a day! Bloggers make the best friends!!!

Your pineapple looks great! These blogs can take up a lot of time :) Have fun getting your sewing room put together. Michelle
Your pineapple is cute! I hope you get your sewing room together soon. Post pics! :)
You know, I could get a lot more stitching done if I would stop spending so much time online reading blogs and ordering stash :) Oh well... what can ya do? =p
I love your pineapple, did you know it is a welcome symbol...I've always liked that. Your sewing room sounds like it coming along and will be a very plesant place to create in....enjoy decorating. Linda
Oooo...love the pineapple :) Did you know that in Colonial times that pineapples meant home and hearth, warmth and welcome when placed in one's home?! You probably did...but I love pineapples and have a beautiful arrangment using one in our home :)
That looks like an interesting design. You have done a lot on it. Blogging does take up a lot of time but its worth it. I get so inspired by what other people do and comments make me feel special too. However it is amazing how much stitching you can get done when you go offline for a few days!! xx
I love this pineapple! Just darling with the cherries, too. Doesn't it just say a Southern welcome for the holidays?
Hugs,
Deb
I'm loving the pineapple, and I'm looking forward to seeing another update on it!
Your blog disappeared from my Google Reader, and now I cannot add it back on because it says there is no feed available. Just wondering if you changed something?
Hey, me again. :) I got your blog to load back in my Google Reader--I don't know what happened???

I love your pineapple, Teresa. The berries give a very fresh accent to it.
With or without decorations: I wish you very happy and joyful holidays!
