A Day of Discovery

I went out today to get my hair cut, earlier today my hair was shoulder length. I wasn't looking for a new style, I just wanted to get rid of years of hair color. There was about an inch and a half of roots so I decided I could live with short hair, it grows, and I wanted to see the real me. My hair is now the shortest it has ever been and the color is salt sprinkled with pepper on the top and gradually goes to pepper sprinkled with salt at the neckline. I really like it.

When I got home I had a new comment on my blog. Nancy from Knitting Paths of Life let me know she was giving me an award.

Thank you Nancy! This is the first time I have seen the Bloggers with Integrity award and am so honored that you would pass this on to me. What I hope I have finally discovered in life, is to simply be true to myself. I am passing this award on to Willzmom and Monique, two women I admire and who are Bloggers with Integrity.

I am so happy I gave this award to you, and cannot believe it is your first one. I'm sure it is only the beginning.
I bet your hair is so cute. Are you going to post a picture?

Congratulations on your award and thanks for passing it on to me :)

Your hair sounds fabulous! Doesn't new hair just make you feel like anything is possible? Well, it has that effect on me LOL
